This is very good advice.

There are SO many scammers and SO many scam baiters like me that I have a much greater chance of getting zapped by a lightning bolt on a sunny day than running into one of these thieves, and even if I did, "I ain't afraid of no ghost!"
If more of us wasted their time with our tricks, they would be looking for another job....I make them put alot of effort and many times real money into my baiting games....the more I occupy their time, the less chance they have of tricking some old widow

I'm with Larry...someone has to take some kind of a stand against these degenerates...they like the ones who bite hard and never cause them any problems. As for giving them an excuse...I've given them plenty to be raging mad about, after playing them along and eventually having them UPS overnight, the bogus checks to the banks and authorities...c/o Charles Bronson...even suggested they see some of his death wish movies, once the cat was out of the bag, not to mention the tongue lashing they got about their low life status in this world,,,being less than good for nothing, and a consumer of goat feces,,,,and always ends in...may you burn in h.....

I would agree with Larry and the others who take their precious time to make these idiots waste their resources on dead ends. I've baited a few and the satisfaction gained was worth the risk. Another thing we should do is report any fraudulent ad to the posting company so the ad can be pulled. Each ad on RVonline or whatever costs the fraudster actual real cash, so the more of these we can get pulled, the less likely it is the scumbags will be able to pull off more scams.

I've had one or two of these free online ad companies actually email me an alert...informing me that I had been contacted by a known scammer before they had a chance to pull them from their membership some will investigate if informed, but most pay no attention and are more concerned about how many people see the ads.
Here's a short list of Nigerian type scammers that you might want to use for something or the other. I now like to forward this list to any new ones before adding their name to the list....informing them, that my product has been sold, and to contact these people who anxiously want to sell theirs also...lol....hopefully their mailbox will eventually be flooded with these reverse offers, confusing and causing them to worry or wonder, just what's going on. I sure that they change addys on a regular basis to create a smoke screen, though.

Think they can't reach out from Nigeraia and make your life miserable?

I know the OP was just playing with this scammer from the begining and trying to see how far it would go, but really.... Are people that naive out there that they would actually go thru something like this??? If so, then my faith in humanity is even lower then what I already think humanity already is!!
Gotta reduce the gene pool some (on both sides of the fence!), if that's the case!!
Wow..... I've done some pretty stupid things too, but something like this??

Well, consider this. If no one fell for it, would they keep trying these same scams? Obviously people are getting taken pretty regularly with these scams or they wouldn't keep doing it.
