For some people, driving is a game. For whatever reason, they feel that messing with other drivers is fun. Others might just be so tired behind the wheel they are unable to drive safely. They might also be driving under the influence.
Earlier this year, I was towing my TT on I-15 (4-lane divided freeway) just outside of Barstow on my way to Las Vegas. I was towing at 60-62 mph and came up upon a car going a lot slower. I pulled out of the slow lane to pass and he sped up and pulled away. So I ended up going back into the slow lane. I came up upon him about 5 minutes later and it happened again.
Either the driver was trying to *^&*() with me or was suffering from "highway hypnosis". My coming up behind him awoke him from his stupor.
Luckily for him, when he sped up the 2nd time he kept going, disappearing down the freeway. I had written a description of the car and had his plate number to call the Highway Patrol to report him as a suspected drunk driver if he did it again.

You just can't anylize people. They do crazy stuff sometimes. I was in a car last week following a guy doing about 45 in a 55 zone. When I went to pass this cat, he hit the throttle and made a drag race out of it. The faster I went, the faster he went. I finally ran out of room and kahunas, and backed off behind him again. Then, not a half mile later he forced me to stop so he could turn left. And just before he turned, he turned around and smiled at me. He was proud of himself.
Yes, my middle finger still works.

That doesn't sound like a good or safe reason to block someone.
Never said it was a good reason, but trying to guess a reason behind Captain Jacktard's behavior.

Since there was a passing lane were you trying to pass in a no passing area?
Some of these responses certainly show what kind of people are members of this forum and the responses indicate some are not even polite in any way shape or form.

Life is too short not to have fun.
This is fun?
The word "humor" in the dictionary is defined as:
1.a comic, absurd, or incongruous quality causing amusement: the humor of a situation.
2.the faculty of perceiving what is amusing or comical: He is completely without humor.
3.humors, peculiar features; oddities; quirks: humors of life.
4.mental disposition or temperament.
5.a capricious or freakish inclination; whim or caprice; odd trait.
These were just a few of the many definitions. I hope they help.
Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

So true. Earlier this week at a four way stop, the car ahead of me turned left. No cross traffic, the truck across the road hesitated. I was also turning left, motioned for him to go and waited, he fingered me as he passed. Still haven't figured that one out.

Last year I was passing a car on a two lane road and the guy behind me was passing along with (behind) me. When the guy behind me figured he might not make it in time, he decided to pass me also in the opposite side breakdown lane. This all happened as the original car we were passing decided to speed up from 45 to 60 over the 1/4 mile stretch. It was scary for me but the oncoming car had nowhere to go as his side breakdown lane had a car coming towards him. Lots of idiots!!!
