Steve; I would highly recomment the KOA at Wapakoneta. The owners are great people and you will be treated just as well there as you were in the Western States. If they are full there is a camp ground
(Easy Camp) just West of Wapakoneta on State Hwy 33. Is is quiet with full hookups. We have spent a couple of weeks at both campgrounds. Hope this helps and happy camping

There's Minuteman Campground in Littleton, about 30 miles outside the city and options on the upper Cape such as Peters Pond Park in Sandwich, MA. The Cape is only about an hour and half from Boston. After mid-October you will have a tough time finding availability. Danforth Bay in Freedom, NH is open year-round but it's a long haul from Boston. You will not be able to bring an RV into Boston-the roads are too small and too crowded. If you don't have a toad, then Normandy Farms might be your best bet. Please come visit our city-you will love it.

We were in Cleveland a couple of weeks ago and stayed at the Streetsboro/Cleveland SE KOA. It is about 30 minutes from downtown Cleveland.

Tall Timbers KOA is the Dayton area KOA,closest to the Air Force Museum which is a MUST see.Tall Timbers is a nice park on I-70 with full amenities. It is much closer to Dayton than Wapakoneta. You will enjoy the Eastern U.S.A.,much different than western U.S.A.,but just as unique.

Another suggestion for Dayton---John Bryan State Park, Yellow Springs, some sites have electric, several water points in the park. But best make reservations. About 15 miles to the Air Force Museum.

I second NOrmandy farms for boston MA. I would look at the state park Croton on the Hudson. It has a nice campground and is right near the railroad to the city. We stayed there last Septermber when Liberty Harbor was booked up. Also I understand that Liberty Harbor has been sold and will be a building sooner or later.

I would recommend French Creek State Park. It's about 40 miles west of Philly but you can get on 422 East or the turnpike and be in Philly in about 45 minutes. They have electric hookups and you can walk to Hoepwell Village which is a National Historical Site.French Creek has two lakes and a swimming pool. You will also be close to the Daniel Boone Homestead and Valley Forge.http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/frenchcreek.aspx
