We are in Cache Creek, BC leaving tomorrow heading for Seattle via Rte 1. How is the border crossing on a Saturday? Also looking for a CG near Bellingham WA area.
P.S. Can you believe we are in Cache Creek "The Arizona of Canada" and it's been raining and cool since we got here at 4PM? We've had this cloud following us for days. Heading south as fast as possible.
HELP!!!

The weather over the weekend looks better the further south you go. Can't help you with a CG near Bellingham other than to tell you that they are plentyful, and there are good ones. Sumas is always a better place to cross the border, rather than at the Peace Arch crossing. Got your passport with you??

Sumas will likely be busy but not nearly as bad as Peace Arch. It really varies as to the time of day. If you can check the internet shortly before you arrive, this is a good site for the Fraser Valley crossings. Border Cams

The Sumas camera is about 150 yards from US customs.

When it comes to actual wait times, this is probably a better site

The Aldergrove crossing is usually less busy, and in Lynden just 5 miles south of the border is the Hidden Village RV park. A nice little place, we keep our 5ver stored there. Tune your radio to 1130 and every ten minutes on the one they give traffic reports which includes the border crossing times.
Seattle will be more of a nightmare than usual with the Seafare and the blue angels in town this weekend. I understand that I-90 will be closed around noon time as the angels perform.
