Does anyone know the name of the pot metal part that slides inside the support track of a Dometic awning? Mine broke and I don't even know what this piece is called to ask for it or search for it. It slides up the inside of the arm and locks at the top near the fabric. It is part of the horizontal arm when extended.

If anyone has a contact for this part on the west coast that would also help.

Thanks,

Hap

Call Dometic and ask for the location of the nearest dealer that will have parts. Camping World may also have parts. Good luck.

Thanks for the reply. I went from a $229.00 replacement arm to a $12.50 hinge. The link from Kanyonkitty and coptalker got me what I needed.

This forum is worth it weight in gold.

I just went threw the same thing. Got the slider from Mark's RV parts (see link above). Took me all of about 10 minutes to fix it.
