Buffalo Dan, on the 09 Roo it's not really a bar, not sure about previous years at all. It's a very nice cabinet, big openings , lots of usage in it and on it. Or anyway, I guess what you refer to as the bar area is the cabinet right inside the door next to the dinette. It's a very nice reasonably tall and deep cabinet with double doors and a nice counter area for stuff (my favorite thing is stuff) Its really handy for outside usage things since it's at the door. Is it different sized than when they gave you the silly bar stools with it Chuck? Could be I guess. But I like the cabinet there a lot and would rather have it than taking it out and adding a U in the same place as the current dinette. It'd have to be smaller in some direction to fit it there. The dinette in our 2009 very comfortably fits 4 adults.

That Jayco floor plan picture is pretty blurry but I think I undertand it. The thing they call the double pantry , that doesn't look as deep as the Roo wardrobe/closet , am I right? Also the awning is much shorter. Is there a reason for that? It's interesting how the different manufacturers come up with floorplans, some of them are so useless wasted space it seems and some are great. Must be the women design the good ones (snicker)

I remember lookimg at the Shamrock (Roo's sister) and thinking how small of a porthole they left to access the rear bunk. I think Jayco made the double pantry shallower in depth to give the trailer more of an open feeling. I have pretty wide shoulders, and when I tried to get into the rear bunk as if I was taking care of our small kids back there, I felt like I rubbed the walls with my shoulders.

I know its blurry...sorry the picture was taken from a cellphone of the 09 brochure. I just wanted to give y'all an idea of the floorplan. I think you can get the idea of the layout though..

Intersting that Jayco is adding hard slides (removing them from the hybrid classification) and Forest River is deleting them.

Jayco e-mailed me their new brochure and the 23J was in it-to be released in March of '09.

Probably be a '10 model. Good marketing, few folks buy campers in the fall. I hope they produce enough to get them to the big indoor RV shows in January.
