Stayed at a river campground this week. Limited hookups, i.e. water/electric, no sewer. Upon leaving, stopped by the dump station for a needed use. Newer rig pulling a toad already there using the facility. Waited patiently while the man emptied his tanks. Upon emptying his tanks he stowed his gear and then decided to hook up the toad! (I didn't realize it was not hooked up while I waited) DW and I had a discussion about me wanting to explain dump station etiquette to this guy. One of the windows of his toad was open enough for me to put my macerator hose in, but DW nixed that idea. Since there were more RVs now lined up, I decided to talk to him. What would you have done...??

I always wait patiently. Then take my turn. Drain all 3 tanks , then hook up cleanout hose and let it fill the black tank and drain it three times. Then Im ready to go and then its your turn. Patients goes a long ways.

I would have talked to him and his serious lack of consideration for others.

On more than one occasion at the gas station I have asked someone to please move up to the next pump other than gassing up at the only diesel pump available.

For some reason when we are out in the MH, I have found no reasons to be in a hurry ! Patients has nothing to do with it, time is just not important !

Time not important, life is…Now where did I hear that one…Oh, The Fifth Element. Back to the question, I would have had trouble not tuning on the hose. Some people are not considerate of others, period.

For me, I can only speak for my self. If I see someone waiting, I try my best to be as quick as I can, but then that's just me. The hose was a good idea…

On most days I would have calmly explained the situation to him and if he still didn't get "it", I would get back in my rig and make a cup of tea.

I think Redramman is the type that holds everyone up. How much water do you think he wastes emptying his black tank 3 TIMES. He must need a lesson on Blank tank maintenance. If he knew what he was doing he would dump once and be out of there. Hes the holdup.

I think it is rude and inconsiderate to deliberately do unnecessary activity at the sewer dump. Just because someone is in a MH, TT, ect, doesn't mean they don't have a scheduled activity, i.e. mx appnt, tickets for a specific tour time later, ect. I would have ask him if there was a problem with his MH and mentioned in a nice way that it would be helpful to move so the others could continue using the dump.

Devils advocate... Possibly, he didn't realize you were waiting for him? He thought he would only be a minute hooking up the toad?
