Hi Folks - unfortunately, the only place I have to park my RV is on the side of the house, right next to a neighbor's towering pine tree. Just went out and found that it is indeed again 'sap' season, and some has dripped on my rig. I won't be able to cover it till next week because I have friends staying in it while visiting.
1) What do you use to get sap off while leaving the paint undamaged?
2) Could the sap eat a hole in the rubber roof?
Thanks -

Cover the rig with a piece of plastic.

Cut any limbs extending over your property line. It may not eliminate all the sap but it should get most of it.
Neighbor will probably be unhappy but my rig is more important to me than my neighbor.

I already paid a tree trimming company to come in and cut up as high as they could over my property, but they couldn't get it all - this sucker is about 100 feet tall, or more.
I just don't want the paint or roof ruined.

Sap hasn't hurt our rubber roof yet as our TT is stored under pines. However it is only 5 years old. I think sap seals leaks myself, never tried to remove it. Guess I'll lurk and see if anyone knows for sure.

I was thinking sap may act as a sealant by itself, too. Thanks for your responses so far.....WD-40, excellent idea. Never saw that Turtle Wax product before...interesting.
