Hello everyone...I was wondering if there was a way to charge your batteries, while you are driving, from the truck? Does anyone have this set up? Thnak you, E and G

If your truck and trailer have a 7-Way connection and is wired correctly your TV should charge the trailer when the trailer's battery cut-off switch is "on." connecting the trailer batteries to the circuit.

You might need to add a relay or fuse to get the charge circuit hot.
Any dealer, auto shop, RV, or towing place can make sure you are set up correctly.

It is not a fast charge so it might even be working and you have not noticed. Check it by starting the tow vehicle and check the trailer battery voltage as you connect to the vehicle. Voltage should rise about one volt.

On my Chevy all I had to do was replace a "fake" fuse under the hood with the correct fuse to use the towing functions on the truck. That took care of any charging issues and it was listed in the owner's manual.
