My younger brother finally (after about two yrs. of looking) bought a new "truck"....and I use that term loosely.

He ended up with an 08 Honda Ridgeline. He's tall (6-06) and he got one w/o the sunroof, as it has about 2" more of headroom.

He said he got $6500.00 off the lot price and got the dealer to add some mudflaps front and rear, a Honda receiver / hitch, and paid $260.00 extra for under-coating. It's a dark gray color (the truck).

I haven't driven it yet, but I did get a good chance to check it out when I drove him to the dealer to pick it up. Very nice overall build quality. Nice little touches here and there. Plenty of cup holders and four airbags I believe. Seats are firm but comfy. Rubber floor mats all around and lights in the bed and tie-down attachments.

I did sit in it and was disappointed that it didn't have more leg room. Not uncomfortable, just a little cramped. I'm 6-05 and about 280 or so.

Anyways, for what he wants, it should do fine. He doesn't pull any heavy trlrs. or carry any heavy loads.

His wife was fine with his decision to buy it. Maybe that's cause he bought her a top-of-line 08 Honda CRV with full leather, just one week prior.

CRX? Are you sure about that?

Ridgelines seem to be good at what they're designed to do. I owned an Acura MDX, and it, like the Ridgeline is based on the Odyssey minivan......and it was a great "SUV". It just could tow what I needed it to tow!

Honda is making CRX again?? Is it like the original or did they just resurrect the name on a completely different kind of vehicle? I'm very interested in this. I loved driving the CRX we used to have.

My neighbor has a Ridgeline. He is about 6'4 or so and a big guy, ex football player. He seems to like it. It is a nice little vehicle. Not sure I would call it a truck though. It has a neat under-bed storage compartment that is quite roomy. A cool idea.
