Does anyone know about this program and how to remove it?

Go to Microsoft and search for "Windows Live OneCare". Download it and run it. The virus might try to block you from downloading the Windows Live OneCare, but keep trying. It might take 4 or 5 trys to download it. I had the virus and have been fighting it all day. Norton would not help me for free so I erased Norton from my system. I found Live oneCare and it fixed the problem. They give a free 90 day trial, then they want $49.00 per year if you want to keep it. Try it, it's free. If it doesn't work you havent lost anything. Try Avast home edition my I T college uses it. I have been using it for 8 years no problem! Its a free antivirus program, to renew it each year just verify your email address. I have installed it on over a hundred systems much better than norton, runs in background does not use a lot of memory or disk space, another note windows one care is problematic it does not play well with other anti virus programs it must me disabled and or deleted to use Avast or other virus protect programs

Everyone,

Thanks for the help. Don't know where it came from. Power went out during a quick thunderstorm and when I went over to check on the computer, this program was way too busy.

Thanks
