I have the JT Strongarms and was wondering if after loosening the t bar and then retracting the landing gear, if it is necessary to retighten the t's to keep them from vibrating loose and falling off?? It is a pain to untighten, raise and then retighten each time. Will they stay in and/or do they have a stop of somesort? Thoughts? Ideas?

Thanks,

I used to tighten mine each time but don't anymore and haven't lost one yet. I haven't traveld over 200 miles in a day either so keep that in mind.

I don't tighten much so a small turn is all it takes to be ready to travel. this means I don't tighten the T nut to travel.

There is no stop, I just snug them so they don't vibrate and fall out. Just a precaution, would hate to arrive and find missing T Bolts although I carry a couple of 3/8" bolts in my tool box to use as temporary replacements in case I would lose one.

With mine, I remove my T handles and place them in a side compartment, and then when I go to set up, I put them back in. Has work well so far.

Happy Camping....

If I remember correctly, mine came with instructions to lightly tighten the T-handles when traveling to prevent their falling out.

Check out the stabilizers by Winfield RV Products. There are no T-handles to come loose and they can be installed with no drilling.

The website is www.winfieldrvproducts.com.

I drilled the end of the T handle's and safty wired them onto the tube, they won't go missing now.
