My sister and I were discussing our October trip to Nashville. I told her that we might be driving right by the Lodge Factory.
Told her it would be wise to stop and visit the Factory -- you know, (ha ha ha) just in case they were having a "Scratch and Dent Sale."

I think they have a message board too (??). Maybe Lodge has a "forum member's day" at the outlet store.
I'm sitting out front of the Kitchen Aid Experience store right now on wifi. They open at noon, various activities starting around then, KA arrainged a history/ demo presentationn for us at 2 PM and a factory tour tomorrow. Also free Logo'ed Polo shirts!
Forum members are getting together tonight for dinner too.
If you're in the area, Wildcat Woods is a nice campgroung about 8 miles outside Greenville (OH). Reasonablly priced (heck, I'm there ), clean, quiet and pet friendly.
For those "into" Lodge products, go for it. If Lodge doesn't do that- suggest it!

Yeah, I'll make up any excuse to stop at an outlet for Lodge or any other camping gear! My sister isn't as obsessed about camping and cast iron as I am...although she is slowly getting there!

Unless things have changed, the only time the Lodge Factory is open for tours is during the National Cornbread Festival in April.
It really pays to know your prices. We didn't find any good deals on our visit to the outlet store. I hope you have better luck!

Dutchess is right about the Sevierville Lodge outlet prices. We bought several small items there last year, only to find them cheaper in various other stores around the area.

I did stop at the outlet store. I found absolutely no bargains. There was a Coleman outlet store next to it but my wife didn't think it was a good idea to go in.

It's not really an outlet store like we think of them, but it's a RETAIL factory store.
I will say you can find any piece that Lodge makes there, but you'll pay MSRP for it.
I can remember my MIL & FIL stopping there and finding several pieces of discontinued CI. But the price was right out of the last factory retail price sheet.
We've found companies like that usually have agreements with their retailers/distributors that they won't sell at a discount so they won't undermine the dealer/distributor sales.
