Im at Myrtle beach state park, does anyone have a good local tech/shop that can work an issue on my winny freightliner chasis? I have a shifter handle that possibly has an intermittent neutral safety switch. About 1/2 the time i try and start the coach nothing happens, I then giggle the shift handle multiple times in and out of gear and presto she will finally turn over? thanks...

Hay Capt,
If the above does not work out for you why not just drive up to Gaffney at the factory service center? They would certainly be able to fix it for you.

If you plan on going to Gaffney, call first and set up an appointment. They get busy at times. I tried to drop by and get in last spring but had no luck with all the snowbirds getting service on their way back from Florida.

Cummins Atlantic - Coach Care located about 32 miles from Myrtle Beach S.P. The name is Cummins, but they work on any kind of coach.

Sparkling clean, brand new facility, 15 miles north of Conway on US-701. They are off the beaten path, so you'll have no trouble getting an appt. Staff is very profesional and knowledgeable. Service was excellent a couple months ago when I was in trouble.

As I recall, they have a tech with a van for doing off-site repairs, in case you can't get to them.
