I know positively for a fact that there are 2008 model year RVs with NON-Digital tuner TVs installed. Not many, but they do exist. One manufacturer rep told me that they buy TV's by the container load direct from Asia. Whatever deal is good when they need more, is the container of TV's they buy. So, depending on when that load of lowest price TV's is used up.....????

If you currently receive television via your rooftop antenna. Then yes, you will have to either upgrade your televisions (Buy new ones) or buy a converter. (I have two of 'em)
If you currently use Satellite TV (DishNetwork or DirectTV) you will not have a problem
If you currently have cable it's up to your cable company and I can't tell you what your cable company will do, however My belief is they will take care of you, likely for a higher price.
Install of the converter boxes is very straight forwared

we have a converter box from Walmart and my husband and i cannot figure out to hook it up through the controller box in our motorhome. We have a 2007 Voyage Winnebago motorhome.
I got the diagram from Winnebago, but we still cannot figure it out.
I though we was pretty good with this kind of things but we get more confused the more we read.
I have been researching for days.
Does anyone have a picture they can send me to show us how to hook this thing up?
Thanks for any help. My husband is ready to take it to camping world and let them install it.
You can still receive the digital signal with an antenna. The best way to tell if you have an antenna with the digital tuner is to look at the color of the antenna. If the antenna head is aluminum colored then you will need an antenna with the digital tuner. If your antenna head is white, then you will be able to receive the digital signal...as long as your tv is digital. All of the winegard sensar models will receive the digital signal. If your antenna is aluminum, you can purchase just the replacement sensar antenna head for about the same price as a converter box.
