We will probably change our plans for the weekend as well. Just a couple of days ago Fay was suppose to be here and gone by Thursday. When I check today the Weather Channel was telling a different story.

It was mentioned in an earlier post that we have a BBQ type meal on Saturday night. I like the idea and will prepare cole slaw and baked beans and maybe some BBQ chicken. They have a nice grill for our use so a lot can be cooked on site before the meal. Any other suggestions?? Bread of some sort for sure (buns, french bread, etc.) Condiments?? Mayo, sliced tomatoes, etc. Let's hear your suggestions. Rob

I'll probably make some pototoes in foil pouches to throw on the grill. Do ya'll like vegetable kabobs? I could fix that. Or mac-n-cheese! and cupcakes!

let's not forget breakfast Sat. morning. I will be cooking link and patty sausage and may be some smoked bacon. We need eggs, toast etc. Ronnie and Rebecca usually do the eggs thing but they are not yet signed on. Any volunteers? EC can make a mean omelette if he will.

Haha, DS eats oatmeal every day of his life. I will happily bring all the instant oatmeal you can stand. And maybe some some stuff for omelettes (mushrooms, peppers, cheese, etc.)

Nobody can replace Ron/Rebecca with those made to order eggs. But will bring sausage patties and scrambled egg casserole.
