I saw one similar in a park I spend time in through the winter. I believe it was a Fleetwood DP. It had been left there unoccupied for a while and just caught on fire. It did not do alot of damage as it was noticed and put out. Fortunitely the park also had keys and could get in and take care of it. I don't know what caused the fire, but expect is was started on the outside at the heater flame.

It looks like a great opportunity for a neww roof and neww sidewall to eliminate any leaks and delamination problems. For that price you can buy it and make the MH you have always thought should be built.

Saw this same kind of fire on a fairly new Dynasty in Miami this past winter. The investigators finally determined it to be from the refrigerator. That unit had a NorCold. The couple who owned the unit were fulltimers and were in it when the fire began. They had a hole burned thru the ceiling, wire bundles melted, lots of smoke and water damage.

Two to chose from and both have had lots of recalls. Have you checked their web pages for models and serial numbers of the recalled units to see if yours is one of those units

It would be interesting to know "where" in the fridge the fire started. The back area is vented and sometimes gets mouse or other nests in the area where the heat is generated.
There are also some recalls that could start something in the control panel area.

But it could have been due to the Norcold recall problem also.
