Hi!

We too are Progressive. This is our first MH, and after doing all of the homework, they offered the best coverage. First 5 years, full replacement value was one of the biggies for us.

We have State Farm for everything else, but they are not as savvy with the MH end of things.

Premium is around $700. Which is the best I found.

So far haven't had to claim anything, but feel confident in my choice.

Good Luck.

Yes but no claims so I don't have a clue about the service. The price was right for an annual premium.

GMAC allows you to cut the coverage when not in use. Have had them for over 20 years now. While everything else in with State Farm, can't beat the service and coverage.
A new coach is replacement covered for 5 years.

Why dont you let Progressive compare prices for you like they advertise on tv.
I had Progressive and a quick wind came along and made a tear in my awning abut 2 inches long. I called Progressive and told them that i did not want to file a claim, but they came right to the campsite the next day and gave me money to have the whole darn thing replaced. Well to make a long story short, they doubled by premium the next year. Just for fun why dont you call AIG and they have Progressive campare prices for you. (remember to include road service and auto)

We have Progressive and like it. We purchased it thru Farm & City. They are very helpful. I like the diminishing deductible. After four years they pay the entire claim. We have it insured for purchased value. We bought ours used if we have a total loss we will get what we paid. Better than Nation Wide. It took us a year to settle after our motorhome was lost in a storage warehouse fire. Never again with anyone who does specialize in motorhome coverage.

Progressive has a very intelligent motorhome package, and a fulltimers package as well. Even if you're past 5 model years, you can get full replacement value coverage if you get them an acceptable appraisal from a dealer. I haven't had a claim, but I really liked how they stacked up against everyone else. Ended up changing car policies to them also.

We had Pprogressive, they lived up to their name, every year they raised the rates even though we had NO claims. Then we got broken windshield on the Jeep, called them, they ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to tell me how much it would cost by using them. The told me I could cancel the claim if I didn't like the cost. So I said (as per their coaching) "I want to file a claim" It was more than double just paying it myself so I canceled the claim. Then I found that they took away my "no claim" discount". When I shopped around for a different company I found that Progressive was reporting that I had filed a claim of $0 to $1000, but NOT reporting that there was no payout and I had canceled the claim.
Called the states Ins. Comm., they said it wasn't illegal, but certainly unethical. We now have GMAC with full replacement ins even though the rig is over 6 years old. Progressive won't even write that and it is cheaper than Progressive too.

My auto insurer couldn't even figure out how to write a policy on my coach. They had to consult with their 'commercial division'.

Seems that in each field, only one or two companies are really courting the RV market (WalMart, Flying-J, Progressive come readily to mind) and their competitors just don't seem to "get it" when it comes to RVs.

Job #1 of all insurance companies is to collect premiums. Job #2 is to find a reason in the fine print to avoid paying claims.
