I got mine at CW for $169.00. I too thought it was an indulgence but the cost of bagged ice, the gas to go get it etc made this a good decision. When the ice gets made, we empty it into a bag and put it into the freezer. The heat index here is over 100 degrees.
Who knows maybe one day I will have satellite tv, a gas fire pit and a fireplace in my rig. Those things I had considered an indulgence but I am vowing not to be so judgemental in the future. When I was a kid camping with my grandparents in the late 60s early 70s, I thought the same thing about air conditioners in rigs.

God bless you both for your efforts. Glad to see you still enjoy Rving with the family.

My ULine makes the first batch in about 45 minutes and then takes another 30-35 to make the future ones. My only problem is I have to drain the water line for the winter again. I usually end up taking it out for the winter.

Ours too, sure beats the one in the refer that we had on our first DSDP! Even our stick house ice maker inthe freezer barely keeps up with my wife, the U-Line in the MH will supply her and everyone else too. No need to buy ice anymore.
