The first time I saw someone using them in person was in Vegas. Yep, they're as dorky in person as they look on TV.

If I could afford and justify a Segway, I'd get one in a heartbeat. But at this point, I'm too heavy for one anyway.

DOn't know what they will cost but they at least look cooler (is that a word?)than the Segway.

That segway on the Frasier show is the old gen 1 model, the new gen 2 model is much easier to steer and overall an easier unit to ride. And that Toyota winglet, its speed and distance is much slower (segway goes up to 12.5), and much shorter (Segway goes up to 24 miles) than the Winglet, and its made in the USA!
