Please post pics of your favorites! Just in time for the summertime fun! Here in SoCal its this In-N-Out! burger hands down! 100% fresh beef, never frozen, and made from scratch fries, real ice creme shakes...I'm in heaven! Altho the Bob's Big Boy burger is great too!

And here is the In-n-Out website, simple menu!

Hot Dogs are all over, but the oldest and bestest is Pinks! without a douby. You can see celebrities all the time, as this place is just blocks from some of the biggest studios! Me and my son ate at the same table with Harrison Ford...not a Paparazzi in sight!

In this part of the country we really don't have any legendary hot dog places, but we do have a very famous hamburger joint:

Kincaid's Hamburgers - Fort Worth

It's known far and wide and all over the state. OMG, I can taste them now.

I don't have a hometown favourite. To get to my hometown favourite I have to cross the border into beautiful Detroit Michigan, and to the nearest White Castle.

Sliders. Mmmmm.

Don't have one where I live now but where I grew up, YES!

Quote:

Coney Island Café
114 W. Foster Avenue, Pampa, Texas 79065

Anyone who grew up in Pampa always goes back to the Coney Island Café to eat when they return to Pampa. People do not return so much for the great hotdogs and chili burgers as the memories of the past that come back in a flash. The unique atmosphere and quirky Gikas brother legacy of the Coney Island Café is a Texas Landmark, for good reason. "When people hear "Pampa", they'll think of three things-Woody Guthrie, Zach Thomas, and The Coney."

Although I have to correct the author of the above to say I did go there for the food.

Rudy's on Lake Ontario in Oswego, NY is my favorite. On opening day (usually in march) customers are 3-4 deep along the counter.

That's ice peaking over the tops of the cars...

These photos are on a "quiet" day.

The Blue Oar right here in Haddam, CT. Here's my grandson finishing off one of their foot-longs. I prefer the crabcake sandwich!
