I do not have any wheel choks yet.
Tempted to go with what many say are the best (ie Rotochoks @$64.95 per side). Are they worth the extra money?
My 16' wheels are 1 5/8 apart. Would I be better off with "small"-for up to 2.5 inches or "petite"-for up to 1.75inches?

The Roto-Chocks are pretty slick. Easy on & easy off. I used the kind that sit on the ground and spread wedges between the wheels before, a real pain to set and get tight. The RCs tighten up quickly and hold firmly.

Can't help on the size, check their website.

Give Pearl a call at Roto Chok and she will help you out...check their website but you need to measure the smallest distance between the wheels and have that measurement and the model/make of your RV

The problem is the distance between your tires can change depending on how you have been maneurvering.

I made my own for under $25 for the pair. Work great!

Has anyone compared them to the BAL ones that fit between the tires? Price is similar.

My FIL has rotochocks... He has too close of clearance between his tires for the BAL chocks...

He really likes them.

I have BAL chocks like these.

I have a good 4-5 inches of space, so plenty of room for them...

Also my TT unfortunately sits unused from about october to april, I would be really worried about the varmits going after the strapping of the rotochocks where I park my TT...

I also have used the BAL scissors chocks on 4 different trailers from 1998 to the present, and have had no problems with them. They are easy to install and remove. Neither myself nor any other RVers we know have the Roto Chocks, so I can't comment on them.

I have had mine for two years. They do everything listed. One tip, tires will be hot when you first put them on. The tires will cool down after a few minutes and shrink, thus loosening-up the fit. In other words, check and re-tighten the Rotochoks after a few minutes.

Owned a set for my previous TT and did not see that much/if any difference when using them. It was a 25RKS and moved up to 31 BHDS. However, some folks swear by em, but I'll go sans.
