We love to travel in our RV but find one thing we have a hard time keeping up with while on the road.. our daily 4-5 mile walk.
The question:
Has anyone seen a source for information (internet or book) that shows walking trail etc?
BTW our favorite place is Clarkston WA and the 16 mile trail along the Snake river... amazing

I generally take a brisk walk (3-4mph) walk that last an hour around the CG that I am staying in. I like to do this in the early morning when there isn't a lot of activity.
I've found some really nice ones by picking up brochures at visitor centers or by googling tourist attractions. Many cities have paved bike and walking trails that they are very proud of but you have to search out the information on them.
www.railtrails.org or google rails to trails for links to many local rail trail organizations. You may also find mapmyhike.com, mapmywalk.com or mapmyrun.com helpful. You can create your own route or access route info posted by others. Registration is required (only once as all 3 are related) but is free. I believe with some hand help GPS devices you can download maps from the mapmy sites so you have it with you. Printing them is also an option.
