Can anyone suggest a good way to clean the bugs off the front of your RV (or car)? Is there something that can be applied prior to travelling that will make it easier to clean after?

For the windshield, Rain-X will let the wind shear off insects. For the body, need something real hard. Have you tried any of the 'poly' waxes?

I applied Rejex and found that I had far fewer bugs on my rig then my camping club members. The ones that were on there came off easier too.

We just go with a good coat of wax and since I'm an early riser the bugs clean off very easy early in the morning after a nights dew on them. If no dew I go out give the front end a spray of water go drink a cup of coffee and then wipe the bugs off.

Bounce dryer sheets for bug removal. Everytime!
Just water down the area that needs cleaning, them simply wipe off.

We have always used baking soda mixed with water in a dish , applied with wet wash cloth on wet paint or windshield scrub lightly with cloth rinse with water then wash with soap and water to remove white powder, wipe glass with dry soft clean towel clean and feel of new paint surface

I keep a good coat of wax on the front. I also use my "Black Streak" spray on the front. Really helps disolving the bugs that committed suicide on the front of my 5v'er.

This looks good but when I went to the site, it specifies not to apply it in the sun, it must be under 85 degrees and must cure for 12 hours. All of this is very impractical to me as I live in an area where these is constant sun and the only time it gets under 85 is winter. It does look like a good product though.
