Looking for places to camp with the family, we have camped at Jellystone Parks in Eureka Missouri, Quarryville Pennsylvania & Cave City, Kentucky. We really like all the activities they have for the kids. Does anyone know of any other parks like this one?

Check out the many posts for camping in Myrtle Beach, SC. It's a great area for families (just miss the month of May - the motorcycles are everywhere for 2 huge rallies). Add in that several large campgrounds are oceanfront and you can find 'skillions' of things to do for people of every age! All of these major campgrounds have extensive activity centers for all ages, and there's a lot to do in the area as well. Charleston, SC is only about 90 minutes away and the history there is awesome. There are several nice campgrounds in the Charleston area, as well, including a county park (James Island Campground) that is wonderful - it even has a waterpark! There are 2 state parks in the MB area with really nice campgrounds (easy access to the ocean) and several in the Charleston area as well. No, they don't have organized activities for children but there are nature trails, (some even including an Alligator walk!) and good play areas - as well as ocean swimming!
Your family could have a really great time on the coast of SC.

Worlds of Fun park in Kansas City. It's right next to Worlds of Fun.

There are many campgrounds that do "theme weekends". The one we frequent has a Halloween weekend that is a big hit. Look locally, you might be surprised by what you have in your backyard.

How old are the kids? Check out Cedar Point, OH for the best roller coasters on the planet.
