Hey guys, just wondering if anyone had any recommendations for Campsites near Mohnton, PA (preferably with a lake if possible) We are already considering Lake-In-Wood but wanted other choices. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Anyone ever go to Blue Falls Grove?? Any opinions would be great! There doesn't seem to be many pictures and I can't find a rating on Woodalls. Thanks!

You will not like Blue Falls Grove. Do a search here and I think you will get some hits. As I remember, the last person I heard that stayed there left after one night. My son went there with a group of people swimming, and said the pool is is not good at all. It used to be a nice place for picnics and swimming, but over the years they let it go down hill.

I think Sun Valley has a "pond" there, and is close to Lake in Wood.

Our family loves the lower section of Oak Creek, especially sites next to the creek. There is a pond there as well. http://www.oakcreekcamp.com/

If you go farther north of Blue Falls, you will get to Robin Hill and Mountain Springs.

I just did the search for Blue Falls Grove, but could not find the item I read before. Maybe it was somewhere else on the net. But my comments are still the same. I just wish I could remember where I read the comment.

Just go back from Lake in the Wood from an 8 night stay and I cannot think of one negative thing to say about it. It is a real nice campground, one of the nicest we have stayed at!

Thanks PA, I actually had read something about a groom complaining about their wedding there. It bothers me that there are NO pictures of this place online ANYWHERE! That alone makes me weary!

AJS211- Thanks for writing! Did you do any fishing by any chance? It's a big thing for my dad & he's disappointed the pond/lake isn't bigger! Were the facilities clean? How was that little cafe? Did you eat there? We're actually looking to stay there because we're going to a drag race right at Maple Grove Raceway, so that's why we were basing our search in that area. Thanks again, hope to hear from you soon!
