53 watts. Oh, well. Do they say how much noise it makes, or how much it costs? Cost per watt is one way to measure the value, factoring in the cost of fuel and the weight and size of the unit. But if it is silent or very quiet, that is a huge plus.
The link looked like a British site -- is this thing available in the US?

If you need more than the 50 AH per day battery charge rate of the A25, take a look at the 100 AH per day A50. Note that the A50 web site shows a price of 3000 British pounds - isn't this around $6000 nowadays? This is probably about 2 1/2 to 3 times the cost of a solar setup that delivers 100 AH per day a few months of the year when the sun is out enough and when you're parked in the sun enough. The price of this A50 will come down, so buying one now means you're willing to be on the bleeding edge of technology with your RV because you're a "techy", a "survivalist", "travel in cloudy weather", or perhaps have no choice because of some important medical requirement if you want to enjoy RV'ing.

going back to the first post not having read any others, I can say that if you are operating your generator you are irritating your fellow campers. I know some of you think that because you have an onan or honda that you are not bothering your neighbors, but you are. I have an onan and 2 honda,s and don't want to hear any of them. I also have a Generac that is the loudest but I don't care which one you or I run, I don't want to hear any of them. I don't even want to hear mine so I use them very seldom.

Fencepost, sometimes it's a good thing to read other posts so you can respond to the thread with more knowledge of what it's really about. Not all campers are as intolerant as you are. I run a concentrator at night....50+ dcb. Would that annoy you?

You just need more battery to get you through the night.
To the OP, with limited recharge time you better make sure you have the battery power you need.

Exactly SM, I'm as intolerant as you are, aparantly. I don't want to disturb my neighbors either. I do take under submission pittapony's point though, I probably should have read all the post's but I just had to say my piece. No generators is quiet generators. Regards, Fencepost.

Then you can run your generator 24 hours a day. Or if you are a jerk, you can claim you have a O2 situation, and the FS personnel are not permitted to enter your vehicle to see if you are telling the truth.
At least that is the official policy in the forest near where we live.

One big priority..knowing if you have a 3 stage converter built into your RV. This will charge the batteries quite rapidly. If you don't, a couple options: replace your converter/charger with a 3 stage unit (14.4 volt fast first stage), or do like I do-use an external 40+ amp 3 stage battery charger.
Your goal is to get the batteries up to 80% charge state quickly.

There is a third option that I chose: Keep your perfectly functioning converter/charger and instead replace your coach batteries with AGM batteries. They charge enough faster than wet cell batteries such that you may find your converter/charger tops them up fast enough.
