What you are asking for specifically, a transmitter to plug into your computer's analog RGB output connector, and a receiver to plug into the TV's analog RGB input, yes, I seem to recall such a device to exist, in the early '90s when we were specifying equipment for our video conference rooms. However, I cannot now locate a supplier, but I don't have links to the industrial video suppliers we were using back then.
We looked at wireless as an alternative to hardwiring our analog component and RGB connections between the video control center and video projectors, because our long cable runs were coming out to hundreds of dollars per cable, and we still needed signal amplifiers at several hundred dollars each, to push a clean signal to the monitors.
The "wireless" turned out to be more expensive, several thousand dollars per connection, with some messy RF inteference issues. Basically, you are setting up a VHF broadcast system in a frequency range that gets picked up by the video output sections of TVs and analog monitors, at levels above what they are shielded for. We would have had to license with the FCC, shield parts of the building from the outside world, and still deal with the interference inside the video conference room. We ended up biting the bullet on the wired solution, moving our video output equipment as close as possible to the projectors and monitors.
The signal you want to send is analog, not digital, so it can't be carried by any of the new (unlicensed) consumer digital wireless protocols (WiFi, Bluetooth, etc), without conversion on both ends.
So, it looks like if I want to do this, I will have to run a RGB cable from my dinette table to the front TV...or mount my old Sony laptop in the cabinet and transmit to it from my new laptop. I guess I have my answer. Some day, when technology allows, I'm sure I'll be able to do it easily but not now...
