Just ordered a double ss sink to replace our plastic one, but it does not have any sound deadening. Anyone ever tried a spray-on or stick-on product that will help with condensation and reduce sound?
Thanks

You can spray on expanding foam insulation or go to the local car audio place and buy DynaMat.

Pick up a can of spray undercoat for under fenders and such. Spray on about 3 coats. It well not get real hard and will deaden the sound.

The light foam doesn't make good dampening. Better is heavy stuff like tar. Auto-body shops have special mats for that, or if you know a roofer he might give you a piece of Finlastic type self-stick roofing membrane.

Just wondering where you ordered your sink from and what model RV you have? I would love to do this in ours.

There is an ice shield material for roofing at home depot and the like. Would be very good for what you need. All you really need to do is add mass. As stated foam won't do much good. You can also use the undercoating as mentioned.

This is a good suggestion and another one would be the spray on bed liner you can buy in spray cans at your auto parts store.

Go to an appliance repair facility and ask for the black stick on sound insulation that they put on dishwashers.

I just saw an ad for a product designed to do just what you want.
All it is is foam tape. You can purchase rolls of this in 2" widths at Home Depot or Lowes. It's the same stuff we sell here at the HVAC distributor where I work and it's sold for pipe wrap.

Dynamat works very well. It is designed for vibration damping of metal panels.
