A good friend recommed Pressure Pro to me and I am really glad he did! It is a great system and has warned us of low pressure on tires several times. Thank goodness I have a 12 VDC and 120 VAC air compressor so I can get those tires right anytime that I need to. By the way, I tried to put 80 lbs in my tires at a new EXXON service station--no luck--their air compressor would not go past 50 lbs. I don't even stop at service stations for air anymore.

Why would you steer clear of it? As said before, there were some supplier issues and bad decisions made initially, but from what I read in the 50+ page thread, they took care of everything and people are happy with them.

Or, is there a technical reason?

Why would I say stay clear of the Safe-Tee system you ask......
Because I was one of the first to order one. They held my money for months. And fed me nothing but BS on when it would ship. And they are still having problems getting the system out. I read not long ago about them having a complete shipment that was junked.
All good enough reasons for me to stay clear of them.

Add me to the list of happy PP users. Best thing for me is ease of checking pressures on 14 tires every morning!

And - the McFalls are the folks to talk to about getting yours!

Another vote for Pressure Pro AND Pat and Mike McFall...ours went out recently, due to a broken connector (my fault), and I don't think I've ever felt that "naked" going down the road before.

Wouldn't be without it!!

First - I'm a *VERY* happy Pressure Pro owner/user.

"Second" the accolades for Mike & Pat McFall

3rd - Go to Escapees - think it's in the RV forum. Bad karma
with SAF-TTE - took orders & $$$ - no mdse.

Google: SAF-TTE - and look for the "escapees" link.
Lots of other google links for it also - didn't bother to read 'em*,
I was already aware of the posts on Escapees. (see next)

*Lastly - with all the excellent results with PP - WHY go with
anything else?

Still waiting to hear from anyone unhappy with PP on here or
anywhere else!
(Could be a lloooooooooggg wait.)

We are now on our second set of Pressure Pro sensors. The first set was in continuous use for five and half years and we had no problems with the system during that time. Even though I have had no low battery warnings from any of the sensors I felt I had gotten my money’s worth. I ordered new sensors last month. They swapped my old ones out for new sensors for $30 a each. We run 14 sensors. I have two receivers. The truck receiver monitors all 14 sensors. The jeep monitors the four sensors on the jeep for independent travel.
I would recommend Pressure Pro.

Purchased my Pressure Pro system from Mike and Pat McFall and very pleased with the extra margin of safety it provides. I would recommend purchasing through Mike and Pat as they really know the product, are avid RVers and really nice people to boot.

One feature I particularly like is the "over/under" alarm. When you are 15% over/15% under your base pressure an alarm is generated. Also I like the ability to see the pressure in each wheel dynamically; particularly the difference from cold to highway operation. Its pretty amazing to be able to see how much additional pressure is gained at highway speeds in the middle of California/Arizona deserts during the hot months.
