What, no flat tires? We just got back from being on the road since May. Two flats on the truck and two tread failures on the TT.

You know, the funny thing is I was prepared for the major stuff like tires, etc. That actually was my biggest concern so I purchased Good Sam ERS and have AAA. Plus, the MH comes with Ford roadside assist. One portion of the trip I drove (on and off with stops) for 26hrs and was worried about a tire going

Sounds like you were plenty prepared for something that never happened LOL. Nothing wrong with that. I wonder how many folks go to change the first flat on their TT only to find TTs usually don't come with a jack or lug wrench.

A while back there was a thread about changing tires and someone commented on having a jack strong enough to lift the MH off the ground. At least we have a spare tire so the tow service had something to put on!!

You have a life time set of unfortunite events. I am glad you also didn't have noisy neighbors, generators, smokey fires, and dogs that we all hear about here?

Dmatt,

I hope that in years to come you can look back on these events and laugh. Its these kinds of events that are the salt of life. Glad you made it home.

My sympathy, empathy, and congratulations to you.

I'm printing this and keeping it in the motorhome so when my trip from he!! happens I'll remember those who went before me -- and survived.

Well. We got the MH back Friday. Dealer did a great job on all the warranty work. New fridge door, sealed the stove vent (water leak #1), new gasket around a/c (water leak #2), re-sealed around shower (water leak #3), and fixed the crack in the windshield. We now have a brand new awning as well as the awning over the slide. They did a great patch job on the holes also.

Now I'm a little bit hesitant on taking her out again.
