Any opinions on Forest River Cherokees. How do they hold up. I'm looking at buying a cherokke 29bh Grey wolf with a slide out. I currently have a Mallard and want to move up to a bunkhouse. How do Forest River hold up are they good trailers?

We don't have a Cherokee, but looked into one. Ended up with a Flagstaff, as it had the floorplan we wanted but lighter weight for the comparable size. (Cherokees are wood-framed, Flagstaff/Rockwood are aluminum-framed.) So far (3 months & almost 5000 miles) we are quite pleased. The newer versions of the Flagstaff & Rockwood twins have sturdier slideout mechanisms than the ones built last year; not sure if that situation applies to Cherokee as well.

I love my 26 BH! My only regret...small one...is that I didn't get the 28BH with a slide...(weight issues with TV)

We have the 28DD, great trailer. Well built and no problems. The only thing that we wish was that we went with the 28A+

The quality of my FR SALEM is very good. No complaints here.

I have a 1999 Forest River Salem. I bought it used and everything works well. The AC unit has no issues, the fridge clicks on instantly on propane when I remove the electric power, roof in great shape, interior panels holding up nicely, no broken hinges on cabinets or bed storage, water heater functions normally, I honestly cannot complain. For such an old unit, all works as it did from day 1.

I am on my second FR TT. Both have been exceptional. By no means are they 'high end' but they get the job done and I have yet to have a failure related to manufacturing.

HAve had both a Cherokee lite 28A and now a cherokee 32B. very nice TT`s and IMO very nicely built with lots of attention to detail.

The only downside to them is the Concertone stereo (junk!).
