Be happy you have 17" wheels. Those of us with 18" wish we has many choices as the 17" crowd!
I think 16" wheels won't work because the brakes are too large in diameter just FYI.

Mine is only the 4.7 and it tows my 6000 lbs better then any 1/2 ton I have owned--it wants to run 65-70 but I try to keep it under 60 to try and get better gas mileage--like thats gonna happen---but my TT is 29 ft and have no sway problems even in Texas where the semis like to blow you off the road--now I cant wait to wear this one out to get a 5.7 at least that is what the DW says I have to do

I've got the little camera in the overhead and it is kind of a waste. I only got it because it was on the truck I wanted. It's no good for hitching up but I do use it occasionally when backing up so I don't hit anything.

I dont know what tundra the OP has, but all the new style tundras i have seen are only offered with 18" wheels as the 17" wont clear the brake calipers from what i was told.

The headlights will go off and on automatically if you leave them in the on position. I think the factory setting is a 4 minute delay for shutoff, but you can change the delay. Check the OM.

You would be surprised what deals are out their for a truck right now. For kicks I looked at an 08 today.....the dealer was willing to make me a great deal on my 07. My 07 is the SR5 DC vs a new 08 Limited DC. Had me thinkings....but the extra $60 / month was not worth it.

Would you do me a huge favor when you have the time. Could you measure that cap fom the bottom of the bed to the inside top of the cap....and also to the bottom of the door opening?
I'll buy you a beer when I see you!
