Yes a A CVT Tranny would be great......The only thing I can think of re. your speeds were constanct for longer periods then my own. We are heading to VA in a week or two...solo no TT. I want to take the TV because of the comfort factor....I am going to drive it like their was an egg under the gas pedal and report back....I thought I did well at 19.2.....from time to time....

i have never seen an average fuel mpg from mine above 18, but most of my highway driving was during heavy traffic commutes. Now i get 31mpg...had to buy a little commuter car..lol.

My wife and I are loving our Tundra too. 2007 Double Cab 5.7 Limited with factory navigation (backup camera is great on that screen BTW).
Purchased April 2007 and now has a 3" Truxxx front lift, SuperSprings on the rear, and BFG TA/KO All Terrain 305/65R18's.
We currently tow a 2003 19' Layton Skyline, it's about 5000#s loaded with 550 tongue weight.
Mileage ranges from 8 to 12 mpg while towing depending on terrain and speeds.
Daily driver in stop and go traffic is 15 to 16 mpg
(best seen on a hwy road trip was 19 mpg at 65 mph)
(best seen on back roads was 23 mpg, flat road running at 42 mph, stop and restart and that mileage heads south)
