Got a renewal notice for my Presidents Club membership for Camping World. First of all my membership does not expire for another four months. Why such an early notice? And second they sent me a new card which is one of those paper thin flimsy plastic cards. The one they sent me last time was a heavy plastic card, like a credit card is made of. I thought it was supposed to be a permanent card since it was made of the heavy material. But I guess not since I got the flimsy one like I usually received in years past prior to the heavy one I got last year.

They want your money as soon as possible. I once received a renewal notice for a magazine I had subscribed for. Received the notice before I had received the first magazine.

Just 4 months.....Seems like I am always getting a renewal notice.

You don't really need to have your card if you have your phone number listed on your account. I am asked for my phone number more than I am asked to see the card. Seems like the bar code reader does not alway read the code.

Good Sam membership and their Emergency Road Service is the same way, they never tell you your expiration date but 4 months ahead of it they're telling you it's going to expire and send you a bill wanting you to pay for 3 year's membership. I may be dead next year then my widow will be begging them for a refund.

I complain and tell them to send me a bill the first of the month that it's due but it's like telling Exxon not to over charge you for gas. They do as they please.

As far as CW, I just hate paying someone for a discount so I'm boycotting them and buying on line.

There........I got it all out in one post!

I play their game. Wait until it has been expired for 4 months, then when you get your fourth "Final" notice it will have a 50% discount and a free gift you can toss.
I get an insurance discount if I belong to an RV association and the President Club qualifies?

The expiration date is right on the front of both cards.

Our new Blue Presidents Card doesn't have an expiration date on it front or back anymore.

I always ignore the renewal notices and renew the next time I'm buying something from them. Last time, I dropped Good Sam ERS and went with CW because they threw in a free mat I was going to buy anyway. This year's ERS cost me $10 from my perspective.

They tried to charge me $3.98 extra for taxes on renewal. After a lot of years with Camping W I decided that I did not need them
