Has anyone ever had a site in this state park? I'm wondering if there's electrical hookups here. The state doesn't seem to know ... one thing I read on their site says no, another says this park has hookups.

The map shows the states my wife and I have driven (or camped) in together.

We've camped at Wagon Wheel Campground a couple of times which is JUST before you enter the state park. We drove through the state park and checked out the sites which were mostly populated by tenter's and a couple of pop-ups. There are no hookups, only a public water faucet down by the road every couple of sites or so. It's a real nice park, clean and well maintained and if I were to camp in a tent I'd go there in a minute but for me, I've gotta have W/E/S.

BTW, I live in Pawtucketville.

Thanks for the reply, neighbor. ( I live in the lower highlands, on Princeton)
I'm in a DIY B so the place sounds like it might work for us anyway. I do have a small generator so I could do without elec if I had to, and haven't set up for w/s yet anyway. I think I might try to get the wife to go next w/e.

You'll like it. You might ask if you can check out the sites first. They have what looks like a new building with restrooms & maybe showers along with a triple bay sink for dish/pot washing near the end of the road. If you don't mind walking or lugging your stuff most sites are a ways away from the building.

Enjoy
