Yep those long days are wearing on me. I'm in the middle of a one year project at work. Before I knew it half the year was gone. I work so much that I have to ask my wife what day of the week it is when I get up in the morning. I'm not ready for AARP or the Buckeye card, I still have a few years to go.
I think all this working and missed time pushed me into the RV world. My family needs to get away on the weekends. We used to travel but that can get expensive. RV'ing can be too but I think in the long run it will be more fun.
I wanted to go to East Harbor this weekend but they were booked up. I called them and they said I should make reservations at least 2 weeks ahead. East Harbor is on my list when we get back from Bristol. It looks like a nice place to camp with lots to do.
ohio state parks are great, I run into this problem alot to because I work 3rd shift, when we just want a quick local trip ,what we end up doing is reserving sat and sun ,then you can stay as late as you want sunday, the ohio state park fees are resaonable enough that you can pay for 2 nights and its still usually cheaper than paying for 1 night in many private parks.
