We spent 4 days here and could not believe how nice a park this is. I am not sure why it is not fully utilized as it seems to have few visitors.

Very clean, quiet and well kept in general with lots of things to see and do right in the park.

The only down sides I could find is that the sites are narrow and there are some issues with low tree branches. The site width was not an issue as there were few campers but if it was full they are close.

A great place for just overnight or a few days!

I totally agree. Great place. Just hope it stays "undiscovered."

i think it gets few visitors because there is virtually nothing to do or see in the area, other than a couple of the old missions.
King City is a fuel/food stop for most. it's the only thing in a long stretch of nothing.

We stayed there a few years ago and really liked the place, at the time I believe the price was $18/nite. We enjoyed looking at all the old farming equipment on display.

Just a bit further down 101 and you have Lake San Antonio. Camping near the lake beats being inland at King City when it hits 100+.

Well, I think this is one of the wost parks anyone could ever stay at. Motorcycle gangs frequent the park, druggies do their dealing at night and the management could care less about the campers.

(Hey, I'm just tryin' to help keep the place un-discovered!!!)

(It is a wonderful place!)
