Have a 2000 Winny on a freightliner with a cummins. Going down the road my aft (red Needle) air gauge slowly loses pressure from about 150 down to 120psi at 120 it pumps back up to 150 and then over about a 3 minute period bleeds back down. Front needle(green) holds steady.
When parked both needles bleed down slowly, losing about 30 pounds per day. I recently had my rear air bags replaced,,, cant hear any leaks? thoughts. thanks folks...

When mine did this, an independent shop found a blown air bag after Freightliner Orlando couldn't.
Can you build up pressure to 125 and safely get underneath with soapy water and spray all the bags, dryer, air tanks and lines?

The varying of air pressure between CUT-IN (120 PSI) AND CUT-OUT (150 PSI) is normal (though both numbers are a little higher than many systems).
3 minute cycles is likely an indication of an air leak or stuck ride height valve. I would think that you would be able to hear the loss of 30 PSI in 3 minutes.

You do have a leak but the sysytem is taking care of it for now... when it reaches 120, system signal compressor to turn on and fill tanks. I would schedule an appointment with FL and have it checked and repaired.

Spray bottle with soapy water. Make sure the air pressure is maxed before starting to look. Then spray all the air line connections. Look for bubbles.

Make sure you block up or somehow insure the coach cannot fall on you while you are underneath. We recently lost a member who was crushed by his coach.

IMO, if you are building 150lbs. that is to much! About 130 would be max.Sounds like your govenor needs adjusting. Some times leaks at 150 will disappear at 120-130.

Freightliner was using a quick disconnect system on their air lines, I had one on my 04 Coachman that popped off when I had to hit the brakes real hard, (emergency brake!) one time, talk about a fun few minutes!! We where near Freightliner shop in Ohio, the repair man just plugged it back in, took longer to do the paper work than the job.

We had a split in the sense line that goes to the VDC. If you park in a quiet area, allow the air to build to max and then shut off the engine right away, you should be able to hear that much of a leak and at least localize it. Ours was between the frame rails in the center of the chassis and you could definitely hear it. Both of our gauges were cycling about the same amount and timing as yours.
