That's great. Are you using US or Imperial gallon in your mpg calculation?

Be leary of MPG figures as some will quote a 1 or 2 tank full reading. I have gotten as low as 8.8 MPG and as high as 17.8 MPG on individual tank fill-ups. Over 28,701 miles my average is 12.1 - I record my expenses. My RV weighs 9,020 miles when we leave home and is 22'-5" long.

Did you ask if 13 is up or down the hill? Mine isn't personal experience but I have friends (2) with chevy class C that claim 7 - 8 mpg. If milage is important to you, I think I'd go out for a ride and see for yourself.

What year? How long is your rig?
1982 and it's 23' long. This fantastic 9.5 mpg I got was driving at 55 mph on the highway. My overall average would be around 8 mpg.

That's about right, considering your 1982 has a carburetor.

I can understand the low 8.8. The high 17.8 seems like a human error ;-).
Anyway, 12.1 average is great.

9200# 19' Class C on a SRW 4x4 Silverado chassis, 8.1 & 6-spd Allison. On ~level terrain, 12.5 @ 65-70, 13.8 @ 55-60. But those numbers are from the dash computer, which has been slightly optimistic when checked against fill-ups. Partly due to the Onan's gas not being measured, I'm sure.
