Anyone have an idea of a good place to stay one night in a Class A motorhome in Santa Cruz?

We've stayed here at Cotillion Gardens a few times .
also stayed at Smithwoods)

Both are good, we prefer Cotillion though.(Cotillion little nicer park, Smithwoods nicer staff/owners)

If you want something on the coast, check out Costanoa, New Brighton State Beach, or Sea Cliff State Beach.

There's a KOA near Santa Cruz. Expensive, but nice and good activities for kids. Santa Cruz KOA

Let's be honest, the state parks fill up 7 months in advance due to the reservation system. Smithwoods and Cotillion are in the redwoods and nice but not really near the beach. The Santa Cruz Yacht harbor is okay but small. Your best bet may be the KOA even though it's over priced.

I second the Cotillion Gardens recommendation. Have stayed there a couple of times and it is good.

The one is Scotts Valley is nice and it's only 10-15 minutes from the Beach Boardwalk, Wharf and downtown. My Parents stay there everytime they come visit. Seacliff SP is by the beach but I'm not sure if they have full hook-ups or not.

You could also check out Pinto Lake. It's not too far from Highway 1, off of
Green Valley Rd. by Watsonville, and very reasonable. There are restaurants and stores close by, and also Gizdich Ranch, where you can pick your own berries & apples in season, and buy pies & other goodies.
