I have a 2006 Monaco Knight with a cummins isc 8.3 330 engine and I'm having trouble locating the secondary fuel filter (DOES IT EVEN HAVE ONE). The primary is a fleetguard fs1003 and any help would be great.

There is one on the curb side of the engine, behind the oil filler tube and the power steering tank when you open the rear doors, the other one is on the roadside, behind the the tranny cooler, just ahead of the power cord compartment. You should have a tee shaped key to open that compartment, it is also where the tank is for the hydraulic fluid for your leveling jacks.

Unless YOUR coach is configured exactly as his is..your input may not be true. Different coach builders located filters in various locations. My own fuel filters are located in an easy access outside compartment on the rearmost passanger side.

Do you have the FS1242 Filter? If so, this is the only one you will have. In march 06, they decided to go with the one big filter instead of the two.
