I thought I would start this thread where we could all talk about things we have bought from those TV promo ads. What worked, what was junk etc.
Today I received my Debbie Meyer Green Bags. You know - the ones that are supposed to extend the freshness of fruits and vegetables.
I will let you know if they work, just give me a few days.
I also bought a Pilates machine 4 years ago. It is still in the box. Do not expect any review on it any time soon.
Anyone else? What did you buy?

Most TV promo itens are available at Walgreens without paying the exorbitant shipping and handling fees that the TV promos charge. You do have to pay sales tax in those states thate charge it, but no S&H, and frequently they are on sale at a reduced price.
I saw the Green Bags at Walgreens when we passed through Omaha but was waiting on someone to test them. Let us know how they work. We have been using the Ziplock Vegetable Bags for years and they work pretty well. We have been unable to find them in local stores so usually wind up ordering by the case over the internet.

The wire you push into sheetrock to hang frames, shelves,etc. These work great, so easy to use. Bought at Walgreens.

Unless you hit a stud. I can't find a stud with a nail, but use one of those hooks, I can find a stud every single time.
They do work though. Everything I had hanging with them held tight during the recent earthquake.

I bought the leather purse that is supposed to hold everything and two bottles of water! NOT! If you expand it or put something in the front zipper pocket, the pocket doesn't want to stay snapped.
We also bought the credit card sized listening device for my mothers significant other(he ran over his hearing aids) He wore it all day long and it seemed to work great! Not sure how long the batteries will last, but they lasted the day.
6-week makeover - still in the box, never opened!
