It has the minimum number of RVIA required escape hatch windows in each of the sleeping areas. What I wonder now is why the fridge door is taped shut.

While perusing the the web for FEMA trailer pics, I saw some pics of new trailers with the doors taped shut in a similar way.

It is the original Bat-Trailer.
Someone just painted it white.

Why do people pay to go up tall buildings and then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Sorry to ruin your fun about FEMA bashing, but the units they handed out (mostly park units) had AC, Heaters, Windows, doors, stoves, fridges, furniture, and Televisions. Of course 3 months later they had none of those items. Take a look at the units that FEMA was auctioning off. Most looked like they had been in a tornado. The "people" in them had ripped out and sold everything that wasn't nailed down and some things that were. They wrecked the walls and doors. No big surprise since they had done the same thing to the Federal Housing projects a few years before. Some of the auction units went for $100.00 and less. I was looking for one for a hunting lease that I could fix up. It was a crying shame the way they had been treated. I passed on all of them.

Fun is that stuff that happens in between mistakes.

what a crock... some are in bad shape and some are like new... I looked at dozens of them with a friend who bought one after losing two bids...

many were vandalized while sitting in lots after being turned in... sure there were some that were just not taken care of, but most were in what could be expected condition after being used for over crowded full time living... it's not like these things were custom built to begin with...

maybe if you lowered your nose enough to see in front of yourself, you might find there were some good people that were forced into some of those trailers... I think they may be proud of the fact they wouldn't meet your approval...

now if you will excuse me I have to go wash my hands...

Thanks for the reply. When I read some things posted on this site I just hope I'll never have to camp beside that poster. Not enought water to wash that off.

I'm with ya' on that one jack!!

I think that some people just enjoy listening to themselves talk. And then some of those like watching themselves post even though what they are posting contributes nothing to the thread, much like contributing nothing............well, I had better stop here.
I made a resolution that I was gonna' try to not be someone on the Forum that causes a thread to be closed.
Let's see how long I can "Bite My Tongue"!!
