We've had a fabulous summer but haven't camped once. We plan on going on our first camping trip in five years. Let's just say the last trip wasn't great so we took a break from it while our kids were babies. Now they're a little older (5 and 8) and are ready to go!

Since the Good Sam Rally in March we have been out about 5 weekend trips in the local area. We head for our first trip to Fort Wilderness the end of August and 4 days in the various parks at Disney.
No major trips for us this year so far. Skipped our annual trip to the Sierras. We did make several weekend trips to beach and had a blast. Will be heading back to desert for some riding when the weather cools down. Starting to plan our big Thanksgiving desert trip. Cant wait for that one.
We're doing great,,sorry haven't posted much but work & all,,,we've camped 7 times this season with our new Puma,we already did 1 halloween & have 4 more to go while camping,we also booked all of sept at a campground 50 miles away, will save us on gas since only camping weekends,,hope everyones trips go well
This year is an unusual one for us,
No spring shake down trip, No Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach, SC, No trip to the Maine Coast. No N.E.RV.Net Mid Summer Rally
We did do our N.E.RV.Net Spring Rally, Father's Day WE and Memorial Day trips and have reservations for Labor Day, Mid Sept Beach rally with NAFCA and the N.E.RV. Net Fall Rally.
The reason for such a drastic change for us was due to a SEVEN WEEK CROSS COUNTRY TRIP!
9967 miles from Central Massachusetts to Taos, NM, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, San Diego, LA, Malibu, Pismo Beach, CA. Central Valley, San Simeon, Monteray, San Francisco, Sonoma, Reno NV, Salt lake City, UT, Jackson Hole, and the Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Coady, WY. Sturgis, SD, Mt Rushmore, Crazy horse, Cedar Point, OH and back home.

I'm glad we did the trip and I'm trying to get a few more trips in this fall to the places we enjoy so much here in New England.

HOT!!! And dry. Eagerly awaiting that first morning when I step outside and can honestly say "I feel the fall in the air"! Let our "official" camping season begin!!!!

We've had a great spring and summer. Started in March and we've gotten in 31 nights so far. We are going this weekend and expect at least another four weekends before we wrap up at Thanksgiving. Also plan to start earlier next year with a trip to Florida in January or February. We've had some rainy days but that's why there's an awning on the side of the trailer...I like sitting out there with a cup of coffee and a good cigar and just watch it rain.
