I was told that here is no need to balance the tires. I was also told It might not be a bad idea since the tires are different from the originals. My old tires were bias, the new ones are radials. Basically got a new set of five at no charge, (that's another story), had them mounted, balanced and filled with nitrogen (part of the package). They recommended balancing in order to avoid the possibility of vibrations. As for the nitrogen, will it increase my mileage? Probably not but it will keep them cooler. I'll let you know how they do when I return from 2000+ mile trek to Fort Wilderness and back in 3 weeks.
