My wife and I are considering moving up from our Allegro 31IA to either the Bay 34 XB or 35 TSB (gas). Unfortunately, while our dealer has a TSB on the lot, there isn't a 34XB anywhere within driving distance. I've been looking at every picture I can find, but I can't tell how much room there is for the recliner behind the passenger captain's chair. Is there someone out there who owns one who can tell me if there's enough room for the recliner to face (more or less) the TV? From the pictures I've seen, it looks like there's only enough room for the chair to face sideways toward the couch. I'd appreciate any feedback.

You can rotate it about 180 deg. Nice floorplan. I don't have one, but I represented them.

Ask over at the Tiffin RV Network. Lots of Tiffin owners to help you and lots of pics there.

I believe you are talking about the reclining euro chair. The chair can be placed anywhere in the MH as it is not attached to the floor.

But where else could it go? I pulled in the front/curb slide of the dealer's 35 to get an idea of how much floor space the 34 would have, and it doesn't seem like there would be any place to move it.

You can pull it out and back to face the TV.

My husband sits in it all the time to watch TV. Just move it a few inches from the wall. It has a swivel base so it is no problem.

Thanks fishboat1 and Vacation Bound, that's what I need to know.

One more question, if I may. I've been reading a lot at Tiffin RV Network (thanks for the link, wny_pat), and it seems like once you get above the Allegro line, you should be able to get 23% off MSRP from Tiffin dealers. Does that sound reasonable? If I can get that, I think I can afford the FRED.

At least 23% off of MSRP should be doable.

The list on our Allegro Bay 34 XB gasser was $148,000. We walked off with $108,000 and were given top dollar for our Isata 24 with 90,000 miles on it. Tax, Title etc. cost us a bit but we still finished for $96,000.

Both retired. 1 year until son finishes college, then financial freedom! We lost Max, the Schnoodle after 16 wonderful years but now enjoy Nicklaus Von Schnoodle (Nicky), who is a full time job. Our new Allegro Bay 34 XB is wonderful.
