I'm a Tiffin owner and I like Tiffin and Allegro Bay, as we own a 2004 AB37DB. However, to be completely honest with you, the one negative feature of the AB34XB is the rather small shower. Other than that, it is a very nice (gas) class A! For small thin folks the small shower should do just fine, but for me it would be a non-starter! JMHO, Chuck/Bagman

We ended up going with the 2008 35TSB FRED that was on the dealer's lot. Signed the contract yesterday. We had started out wanting the FRED for the hill-climbing, toad-towing power, but didn't think we could get the numbers to work. But we got a good price and a few other things fell into place, and we were able to get the MH we wanted all along (we fell in love with the 2007 TSB last year). We will have it in time for Labor Day weekend, and we can't wait. We had the 31IA for 5 years and are only getting rid of it because we need more room, so we expect to have this one for a long time.

you should be aware that there are two Fred chassis. one for the bay and a lighter one for the open road. I think the gcvw is less on the open road. the difference is in the transmission.

Yes, it is Van's. This is our 3rd MH from them. We haven't taken delivery yet, but when we do, I'll keep an eye out for Jim.

We went to Red Bay last September and watched as our 2008 35tsb was being built. We love, love, love our coach. Spent 4 months in Texas last winter with no problems. We agree with Bagman that you will not be disappointed with the extra room you have in your shower. Also, DW would not have been satisfied with the smaller kitchen counter space in the 34XB. The gasser does a fine job of pulling our Jeep Liberty. Enjoy your new coach.

Tiffin doesn't list the CCC in the specs, but if:

CCC = GVWR - (UVW + water + propane + SCWR)

For the 35 TSB on the FRED chassis with the booth dinette (2 add'l sleeping positions):

GVWR = 26,000
UVW = 20,990
Water = 664 (80 gal. @ 8.3)
Propane = 105 (31.3 gal x 80% @ 4.2)
SCWR = 924 (6 people @ 154)

CCC = 26,000 - (20,990 + 664 + 105 + 924) = 3317 (minus weight of options)

All Allegro Bay models have the same water and propane capacity and six sleeping positions, so you just have to plug in the GVWR and UVW for the gas chassis models. You can get those values at Tiffin's website (www.tiffinmotorhomes.com).

Hi guys. I must be missing something here. On the Tiffin website, the 34XB claims to have a 41" shower. The 35TBS has a 36" shower. I believe Bagman and JoJoLou claim the 35TSB have the bigger shower? Maybe I am misunderstanding something here. Please set me straight. Thank-You. Louie
