I agree with C5man and sum1. Go to a Goodyear dealer and have the tires inspected, with that many miles on them they may last another 4 years unless the tread wears out first.

You're in that "iffy" area. You're not wrong to leave them or to replace them. NEXT year is a different thing and the "age card" rears its head.
Depending on just how much you intend on using that rig the rest of the year and what present condition is..and how they have been treated their whole life has to be sort of clumped together to get the "good look" at them

The key to the age/milage might be keeping the tires moving and thereby 'exercising' the oil and components within the tire body. In '07 we replaced a set of Michelins that still looked good with no cracks or damage. They came on the coach when we bought it new in '00. We had a right rear inside to blow when we pulling away from an off-ramp on I-20 in Columbia SC at about15 miles per hour. Drove 100 yards into a FlyingJ. I was on pins and needles all the way home to N Georgia. We replaced them the next day.
I guess the appearance is not as important as internal condition.
We decided to replace the tires and purchased XZA2 Energy Michelins. Thank you all for giving me the necessary information to make up my our minds. Happy Traveling All !
Just to add a little fuel to the fire - in almost all cases I would have said it was probably time for a change - however, with 50k+ miles on your tires you have more use than is typical. If those miles were evenly spread out over the years then I'd suggest that you may have a couple of years left on them - however if they were mostly done in one or two years and the other years, the MH was just left standing then you might be pushing it.
So it's never clear cut - but I see you took the best way and decided to change them - the peace of mind is worth the cost.
