I am thinking of moving my fiver about 6-8 foot further on the concrete pad at the RV Resort to have the whole awning over the patio. Is it advisable to move it that short distance with the slide out?

If tv is on the same pad and it completely flat, then you probably can.... otherwise, take three minutes and put in the slides.

I'd leave my slide out for that but I do a careful walk around just to be sure, at slide height to roof height, that I wouldn't snag anything. I've also made site changes with the slides out. At the factories, they move them all the time with the slides out.

I don't take the chance. It might be fine, but a big repair bill is not worth the few minutes it takes to slide them in and and back out.

If you are like the wife and I you probably have to move stuff around inside to pull the slide in.
For 6 to 8 feet I wouldn't give it a second thought to move it with the slide out.
Like said before, just check outside for stuff.

I would leave it out but make darn sure you have room and the slide is clear of any obstructions. If it's close put the slide in.
